About the project: The project aims at creating change makers within the communities. The capacity building of adolescent girls through trainings, orientations, exposures and other such activities to enhance their understanding & skills about gender, patriarchy and intersectionality. The aim is to create a just and equitable society through an intersectional lens, which provides and encourages equal and fair opportunities of education, livelihood, mobility for these girls. The project also aims at creating an environment within the community, that encourages and supports adolescent girls for completing higher education and gain meaningful capacities.

Job Title: Child Sponsorship supervisor

Roles & Responsibilities: The Child Sponsorship supervisor will be responsible for the implementation of Sponsorship related work, documentation and maintaining the MIS of the project.

• Identify the family as per the criteria and fill the Child information sheet / form if a child migrates or leaves the field.

• Facilitate writing of letters from sponsored children once in a year between October to December

• Conduct household visits of identified children on a regular basis to follow up on the health of the child. In case of child found sick, must immediately inform his/her supervisor to ensure care seeking for the child. Referral to be ensured if necessary.

• Follow up visit to collect relevant data of the identified child required from time to time.

• Support in school level and city level programs and campaign related activities.

• Participate in community-based meetings and share the discussion/ improvement points and programme updates with the team

• Ensure the distribution of items/ gift received from the sponsors to sponsored child with in the time.

• Facilitate to sponsored child to write the letters to sponsor, take the good digital photo

• Preparation of required reports and submission in timely manner

• Collection of data and submission of data for data entry in software on given time line

• Closely wok and liaise with the parents, Teacher, ward members and relevant community level influencers

• Document Case studies

Qualification & Experience:

• Post-Graduation in Social Work, Sociology or other related fields

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience of working within the social sector
