Detailed Job Description: RTI is supporting Department of Transport, APSTRC and related departments in Government of Andhra Pradesh to accelerate deployment and adoption of electric mobility in the state.

RTI is seeking an experienced individual to work closely with DoT, APSTRC, NREDCAP, APEPDCL, GVMC, APUIAML, APIICL etc. 

Essential Duties: Main purpose of job (List primary duties that occupy a majority of incumbent time in order of importance) 

Lead policy and program technical assistance advise to Department of Transport and other related departments/entities in GoAP.

Lead formulation of new e-mobility policy by providing analytical and contextual inputs.

Enable local stakeholder consultations including Government, thinktanks, citizen groups etc. in co-ordination with the Project Director

Lead design of new pilot projects in e-mobility and their implementation, monitoring and review.

Provide technical and programmatic inputs to ensure periodic review of policy and programs and subsequent follow-up actions.

Head local PMU located within GoAP and provide technical and management leadership to the project team located in Vijayawada, Vizag and other locations in AP.

Support Project Director in any other task that may be assigned from time to time.

Support execution of other projects in e-mobility and related areas as relevant.

Job Requirements are a combination of qualifications and related experience. Judgment of an acceptable equivalent combination, on an individual basis, is the responsibility of Management 

Minimum Education Required:

Degree / Certification    -       Indicative Branch / Specialization

Bachelor           -                In a relevant subject such as urban/transport/economics/engineering/finance/public policy or closely related subjects is required.

Master            -                   In a relevant subject such as urban/transport/economics/engineering/finance/public policy or closely related subjects is required. 

Doctorate         -                  Same as above

 Minimum Relevant Experience Required:

Experience in e-mobility, and related fields is required.

Experience of working in or with Government departments is desired. - 15-20 years
