Access to clean drinking water is basic human need for survival. However, millions of people across the world lack access to clean drinking water, and the problem is more acute in the developing countries. India is no exception. Maharashtra is one of the states in India where access to clean drinking water is a major issue in some of the regions affected by prolonged droughts.
One of our core activities include facilitating access to safe drinking water. We sensitize the masses on the need to have access to clean and safe drinking water to prevent the spread of various water borne diseases and other dreadful diseases caused by contaminated and polluted water. We generate awareness on the need to protect various sources of water and stop polluting water bodies. We provide safe drinking water in times of drought and acute water scarcity.
