he organization have provided safe drinking water to about 12,00 families and 60,000 adults hailing from Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class and other vulnerable communities in remote villages of Azamgarh district by installing about 500 bore wells so far.
In the year 2010, a pilot project with the support of Rotary Foundation was initiated in the rural villages of Azamgarh district. Through the project, clean drinking water was provided to about 800 disadvantaged families.
We have been able to enhance accessibility to potable water in all 50 target communities by installing water treatment plants.
We also sensitize the rural communities to install sanitation facilities in their houses. We generate awareness on the ill effects of open defecation. So far, we have installed eco- friendly sanitation facilities for all families in 60 communities.
