Through, the health care programmes we provide free medical check-ups, medicines, health education leading to family planning, better hygiene and sanitation and prevention of communicable diseases, especially sexually transmitted diseases like HIV/AIDS etc with special emphasis on mother and child healthcare. The poor are uneducated about the minimum calorie intake and the health problems they may suffer due to under nourishment and malnutrition. Our centre is running a programme called EFFORT where health food like milk, fruits and biscuits are distributed among the people of slums on a daily basis. As the percentage of elder person is growing rapidly in our country, eye problems are rising, and as a regular event the organization organizes eye camp and health camps at our centre and in industries sensitizing about health issues.
