In order to celebrate the World Tsunami Awareness Day, the Portuguese National Authority for Emergency and Civil Protection (ANEPC) will organize on the 5th of November a webinar to increase public awareness on this risk and to disseminate good practices related to its reduction. The webinar, dedicated to the topic "Tsunami risk management: Alert, Warning and Evacuation", will gather scientific experts, first responders and local authorities and will explore, inter alia, the role of the National Tsunami Alert Center and the local experiences in warning systems and public awareness.
