Bangalore School of Music partners with NGO to present soiree

Bangalore School of Music is all set for Serendipity, a music concert that would bring to Bangalore Marialena Fernandes, world-renowned pianist and professor at Vienna Controversy. She would be performing along with ThreeX, trio musicians and entertainers.
The concert is dedicated to CherYsh, an NGO that works to improve education, skills and livelihoods for girls and women in rural India. It provides education through after school learning programs, vocational skills training and livelihood opportunities to girls and women of Haliyal, most of who belong to Siddi community, the music loving African group.
It would be the first opportunity for Siddi girls to learn through a music workshop.Serendipity is a special fund-raiser for CherYsh and its invaluable work to enhance quality of lives of people in hard-to-reach rural regions.
The concert would take place on February 22 at Alliance Francaise, Bangalore.
