Singapore-based NGO teams up with TN govt to boost health services

A Singapore-based non-profit organisation has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu government to launch a three-year project aimed at enhancing maternal and child health services in the state. The project seeks to address gaps in healthcare practice to tackle the maternal and infant mortality in parts of Tamil Nadu like Trichy and Chengalpattu, said Singapore International Foundation (SIF) senior manager (volunteer cooperation programmes division), Elaine Ng. pti
