The first order Parimal Rai issued after joining as the 16th Chandigarh adviser was to remove the makeshift wooden ramp on the staircase outside his office at Chandigarh Secretariat in Sector 9. The order, within minutes of Rai?s joining, was said to have been issued because of its inconvenient placement.
