Navsari NGO raises an appeal to save rivers

A Navsari-based NGO, Ambika River Bachao Janhit Raksha Abhiyan has raised an environment appeal to save the rivers in Navsari district from the indiscriminate sand and gravel mining and the release of untreated polluting water from the nearby industries.
An appeal-cum-memorandum in this regard has been sent to district collector, member secretary of Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) and the environment and forest minister of state government by the president of NGO, Dr Jayeshkumar Naik on Wednesday.
