COLLEGES IN the city have taken to social activities, particularly during their fests. Although this trend had been adopted last year, this year, it seems to have become much more popular.
St Xavier?s College?s annual fest Malhar is collaborating with NGO Pehchaan for three causes, organising two yard sales and one food junction. Bigger and better than last year, all the articles and profits collected at the yard sale will be sent to the NGO.
Food Junction is a new initiative, which plans to bring underprivileged children to the college and provide them with free food.
