In one of the poorest districts in Maharashtra, Dhule we look at how Kalpana Kamdi, Pratibha Khonde and Chhotibai are working to change their lives. In this special episode we see how through the silai (sewing) school these women have been able to empower not only themselves but also the families and the women in their community. This is a story of how these women defied the age old restrictions of being confined to their homes and went on to become financially independent and how their example a sense of entrepreneurship has permeated into the community around them.
