Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Manager/Sr Manager Fundraiser with proven expertise in fundraising for NGOs. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of various fundraising strategies, including Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), grants, donations, and international fundraising. The Fundraiser will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies to secure financial support for our organization's programs and initiatives. They must be well-versed in compliance requirements and laws related to fundraising activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute Fundraising Strategies: Design and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to support the organization's mission and objectives. This includes identifying potential funding sources, cultivating relationships with donors and partners, and maximizing revenue generation through diverse fundraising channels.
CSR Engagement: Forge partnerships with corporations to leverage CSR initiatives for fundraising purposes. Collaborate with corporate partners to identify opportunities for financial support, sponsorships, and in-kind donations aligned with the organization's goals.
Grant Proposal Development: Lead the development of compelling grant proposals tailored to the requirements of various funding agencies, foundations, and governmental bodies. Ensure alignment of proposals with organizational priorities and donor expectations.
Donor Cultivation and Stewardship: Cultivate relationships with individual donors, major donors, and philanthropic organizations to secure financial contributions and long-term support. Implement stewardship strategies to maintain donor engagement and loyalty.
International Fundraising: Develop and implement strategies to raise funds from international sources, including multilateral agencies, international foundations, and global corporations. Stay updated on global fundraising trends and best practices to optimize international fundraising efforts.
Compliance and Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing fundraising activities. Stay abreast of changes in fundraising regulations and update organizational practices accordingly.
Financial Management: Oversee the budgeting and financial management of fundraising activities, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and transparent financial reporting. Monitor fundraising performance metrics and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising strategies.
Qualifications:
Master's degree.
Good experience in fundraising for NGOs, with a focus on CSR, grants, and international fundraising.
Proven track record of successfully securing funding from diverse sources, including corporations, foundations, and international donors.
Comprehensive understanding of fundraising principles, techniques, and best practices.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing and motivating fundraising teams.
Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and grant proposal writing.
Familiarity with relevant compliance regulations and legal frameworks governing fundraising activities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to manage a team.
