Job Description- Head of Fundraising

Job Overview:

As the Head of Fundraising, you will spearhead our efforts to secure the necessary funding to drive and expand our charitable programs. This role is designed for a visionary leader skilled in CSR fundraising, capable of forging strong connections and articulating our mission to donors and partners alike.

Key Responsibilities: 

Strategic Fundraising Development: Craft and execute a strategic fundraising plan that aligns with our mission to ensure the sustainability and expansion of our programs.

Donor Engagement: Oversee all aspects of donor relations, from identification to stewardship, ensuring robust, trust-based relationships with both existing and potential donors.

Grant Management: Direct our grant-seeking processes, from research and proposal writing to compliance and detailed reporting.

Database Management: Maintain a comprehensive donor database to ensure accuracy and privacy of data.

Communication and Reporting: Develop impactful fundraising materials and maintain regular communication with donors to highlight their contributions’ impact and our ongoing needs. 

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Management, Social Sciences, or a related field; significant experience in fundraising or marketing may also be considered.

At least 10 years of proven experience in fundraising, preferably with expertise in CSR initiatives.

Exceptional communication skills in both English and Hindi, with the capability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital communication platforms.

Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team.

Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

A deep passion for social impact and a sensitive approach to diverse communities.

Willingness and ability to travel within Mumbai and its surrounding areas as required.

Hunger Alleviation: Since the onset of the pandemic, we have crafted over 2 million meals. Our 'Food for Education' program has provided an impressive 2.69 crore meals, ensuring that nutritional needs are met for countless children and aiding in their educational journey.

Vision Care: We have conducted vision screenings for over half a million children, with 25,000 receiving high-quality spectacles from EssilorLuxottica, enabling them to see a brighter future literally and figuratively.

Empowerment through Mobility: Our commitment to empowerment is demonstrated through the production and distribution of 280,038 prosthetic limbs, helping individuals regain mobility and independence.
