Welcome to National Rural Development (NRD) The NRD is an NGO committed to supporting the development of good quality alternative care for children in Delhi. Alternative care is care provided for disabled children who are unable to live with their biological parents, and includes kinship care, foster care, residential care, supervised independent living arrangements and other forms of family.

Our vision as an organisation is to bridge the existing gaps between regulation, policy and practice in India, working closely with our vision partners to learn from research and best practice internationally.

We strongly uphold the child’s basic right to family life and support efforts to deinstitutionalise care for children in India. We work closely with a range of stakeholders including national and state government, NRDs and other community services, and are committed to seeing the child’s voice represented in any services developed.

Grant Proposal Writer Job

National Rural Development is offering this job opportunity that has experience in writing international grant proposals.

We are looking for a Grant Writer and lead our efforts in securing funding to help our organization operate throughout the year.

Grant Writer responsibilities include:

• Developing relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders

• Displaying adherence to the organization’s mission

Responsibilities A Grant Writer’s responsibilities include researching grant opportunities, writing compelling grant proposals to acquire funding, and working with our leadership team to ensure we have enough capital each year. Ultimately, you will work with our CEO who has long years experience to understand our financial needs and ensure we attain funding.

• Identify grant funding opportunities

• Write, submit and manage grant proposals

• Furnish prospective funders with supporting documents

• Collaborate with Director of Development to compile a project report

Requirements and skills :

• Proven work experience as a Grant Writing

• Proficient with measuring and reaching income goals

Great with MS Office Word and Excel

• Exceptional organizational and writing skills

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in creative writing and have 3 years experience in grant writing.

Salary: Salary will be as per qualification and work experience
