Head Women Empowerment

Location – Navi Mumbai

Necessary:

Desirable

Post Graduate Degree in any of the fields related to the development sector.

Minimum 15 years of social sector experience, especially technical expertise related to women empowerment programs

Experience of implementing large scale development projects.

Thorough knowledge of the social sector and specialist expertise in one or more areas.

Strong communication and influencing skills

S/he should be experienced in commissioning projects from third parties to meet agreed objectives

Self-starter who takes ownership and responsibility for his/her projects.

Team player with leadership skills.

Capable to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills in an international environment

Independent, confident and customer-focused mind-set.

Ability to control processes and activities in a result-oriented manner and work effectively to tight deadlines.

Excellent communication skills in English (verbally and in writing).

Roles and Responsibilities

Develop and incubate new women empowerment initiatives that aim to catalyse women-led development through awareness creation, ecosystem knowledge platforms and socio-economic transformation, specifically through digital literacy/ inclusion programmes

Develop and expand RF’s digital inclusion programmes, working together with technical and co-implementation partners to facilitate inclusive access to and use of digital technology to drive positive health, education and livelihood outcomes for women and their families.

Work in collaboration with programme teams to provide technical support to ensure existing programmes are gender inclusive, where required.

Work with the M&E team to ensure disaggregated data and gender mainstreaming across all reporting.

Work with the research team on publications to share best practice and with the communications team to develop the narrative across all women empowerment programmes and initiatives.
