Job Role Matron (Female)-Residential

Requirements -Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Matron (Female) working with residential children. Should have carried out these key tasks:

o Prepare timetable for children for the week

o Work with kitchen staff to ensure meals are served on time

o Maintain Inventory of supplies & handle issue of raw materials

o Work together as a team with other Matrons

- Should speak English, Kannada, Tamil or Telugu

- Should be able to read and write English

- Work with under-privileged children (who are Hearing impaired and physically challenged)

- Residential job: Live in Cheshire Homes, Bangalore

Job Responsibilities Key Job responsibilities are:

- Work as a team with other Matrons

- Work with other staff for duties related to the children

- Handle hospital visits with children

- Coordinate tasks and communicate with the educational institutes where the children study

- Attend to medical emergencies

- Follow defined processes of Cheshire Homes Bangalore Unit

Attitude - Compassionate, caring and understand the children

- Should be disciplined and polite

- Should be a team player
