Nature of Engagement–Contract Basis
Mumbai based female candidates willing to join immediately will be preferred. Only female candidates should apply.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Master in Public Health (MPH) or similar courses from reputed institutes. Candidates with online courses or distant learning courses will not be considered.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Two to four years of work experience in the related field
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Proposal writing
Session Facilitation skill
Strong interpersonal skill
Good communication skill. Fluency in English and Hindi is a must
Ability to converse/ communicate with people living in slum specially women/ young girls effectively
Ability to think strategically and work in short deadlines
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Building rapport with communities that requires being on the field quite frequently and interacting with the people
Establishing and maintaining strong working partnerships with all the stakeholders
Developing project implementing strategy that includes drafting field operation plans, training modules, discussion guides, research protocols etc. with the Program Lead
Conducting sessions, FGDs, interviews etc.
Developing / modifying data collection instruments with the Program Lead
Analyzing the data with team and preparing reports
Supporting in the drafting of publications, and other dissemination materials related to the projects
Monitoring the process regularly to ensure quality and timelines are met without any failure
Working with the program team closely and adding to their skills and knowledge
Supervising and guiding the team to achieve the projects’ outcomes timely
Exploring potential funding opportunity in the field of health interventions and building contacts with them. Writing and submitting proposals
Coordinating with existing funders and reporting to them regularly
WORKING HOURS:
Five days per week. A typical working week is Thursday to Monday, with Tuesday and Wednesday being weekly offs
The person must also be willing to work on holidays as and when required
The person must also be willing to work extra hours if required
Must be willing to go to project field (slum areas)
