Eligibility: B.Sc. Nursing, G.N.M/ A.N.M. (Govt. recognized)

Registered with Nursing Council

Experience: minimum 2 years, with experience in OT management

Proficiency in MS Office and Computer Applications

Salary: - Commensurate with Qualification and Experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To work under the guidance of the Medical Officer or Clinic I/C

• Responsible for implementation of day to day OT and ward activities client preparation, OT asepsis, autoclave, instrument processing, OPD client paperwork

• Responsible for the Infection Prevention & Implementation of Bio Safety Measures in the clinic.

• Actively participate in BCC/ IEC Activities in the clinic as well as in the field.

• Preoperative preparation of clients.

• Pre-operative preparation of the OT as per the ESS guidelines ensuring quality of care.

• To assist the surgeon/MO in clinical and surgical procedures.

• To take informed consent of the client.

• To provide SRH services including Contraceptive Counseling services including Emergency Contraception if required.

• To ensure follow up of sterilization, IUD, ANC, PNC cases & complications as and when required.

• To maintain logistics of drugs, contraceptives, clinical instruments/equipment’s, linen etc. and ensure adequate supply.

• To supervise support staff & ensure cleanliness & infection prevention measures are carried out.

• To provide Pre & Post Abortion Counseling, and other services related to safe abortions as required.

• To assist the PM & MO in conducting the training programs/IEC Activities and in preparing the monthly reports.

Maintenance of all clinic records as per the requirement.
