Job Title: District / Project Coordinator
Qualification: Post graduate in Agriculture with experience of 5-6 years in agro based project
Key Accountability:
Job Summary: Responsible for overall results of a project by guiding the project team in planning and implementation of the project activities, preparing activity and project progress reports, utilization of project fund, provide technical, thematic and handholding support to project staff and other key stake holders.
Key responsibilities:
Ensure program monitoring and measure the outputs and outcomes.
Visit the field to support and supervise the programs, review activities and facilitate action based on field observations, provide handholding support to project staff
Break projects activities into doable actions and set timeframes
Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives
Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve
Analyze risks and opportunities
Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
Liaison & Coordination with state / district level line dept. / academic institutions
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
Competencies
Proven wrk experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role
Understanding of the concept of sustainable agriculture practices, agro-ecology and climate resilient crops
Sound understanding of the community processes, power dynamics and functioning of CBOs
Understanding about the convergence activities with government department
Community organizing skills
Project Management, Planning & facilitation skills
Good communication skills (oral & written) in English, Hindi & Punjabi
Ability to work under pressure and manage complex priorities
A self motivated person with a positive attitude.
Ability to work with different communities in general in the villages
