Position: Project Officer (Education)
Purpose of the Job: Education Project implementation, Community literacy promotion and education Analysis, Coordination and collaborative approach to address social security, health programs and other measures in liaison with Government and development agencies.
Location: Dhenkanal, Odisha
Key Responsibilities:
Education Planning: Knowledge of educational systems and experience in designing and implementing
education-focused interventions.
Curriculum Development: Skill in developing curriculum materials and educational resources.
Teacher Training: Ability to provide training and support to teachers and education stakeholders.
Monitoring and Evaluation: Capacity to monitor educational programs and assess their impact on learning
outcomes.
Presentation and Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate educational objectives and
outcomes to stakeholders, including teachers, parents, and community members. Effective communication
skills in English are highly preferred.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze educational data and trends to inform programmatic decisions and
improvements.
Team Cohesion Abilities: Capacity to collaborate with other project officers and education stakeholders to
oordinate efforts and achieve shared goals.
Experience:
Total work experience more than 3 Years.
2-3 years in project implementation in Education -rural community mobilization and institution building.
Experience in Fund raising for Not-for-profit organization will be an added advantage.
Age: Less than 45 Years.
Skills & Knowledge:
Must Have
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education/Development Studies, Social Sciences, Education, Educationresearch or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of Relevant experience in thematic program management, preferably with Education
project in the development sector.
Must have fluency in English and Odia languages.
Desirable
eadership abilities with ability to work in diverse teams and fostering collaboration.
Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and
measurable outcomes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively
with stakeholders at all levels.
Potential for resource mobilization, including grant writing, donor relations, and budget management.
Well versed with project management, monitoring and evaluation, and data-driven decision-making.
Familiarity with government programs and policies related to rural development and community
empowerment.
Commitment to the organization's mission and values, with a passion for driving positive change in rural
communities.
Experience in use of PRA Tools, Data collection, survey, Family counselling and group work.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with other data analysis tools.
Salaries Offered: Approximately, the monthly salary range is between 32-35K, depending on your experience and skills.
