SCOPE OF WORK: AUTO INDUSTRY SOFTWARE EXPERT: EV EMBEDDED SOFTWARE INDUSTRY IN INDIA

In 2014, RTI International established RTI International India (RTI India), wholly owned subsidiary, as a testament to the strategic importance that India holds with regards to the global development agenda. 

RTI is now conducting a research project focused on Electric Vehicle component value chain, with a focus on heavy vehicles such as e-buses and trucks. 

It seeks an experienced auto industry expert with deep knowledge of Automotive software and EV Embedded software to provide advisory inputs to the report developed by RTI and lead industry consultations on EV embedded software capabilities for heavy vehicles. 

Scope: Activities required to be undertaken are detailed below: 

Review the section on EV embedded software in the report developed by RTI team for factual inaccuracies and provide inputs to enhance quality of research.

Lead and conduct consultations with 4-5 EV software solution providers on EV embedded software systems in EV (Powertrain, BMS and TMS).  Consultations with key EV software solution providers will focus on understand capabilities in software development, gaps, and modes of collaboration among players in the industry and key barriers and gaps in EV embedded software development for E buses and E trucks

Assist the team in creating a RAG (Red, Amber, Green) matrix mapped to the EV software systems capabilities in India.

Participate in stakeholder consultations in Delhi, Pune, Bengaluru and Chennai (Virtually) and present views on EV embedded software industry in India and  

Location: N. Delhi or anywhere in India (Remote) 

Duration: April 10, 2024 – June 30, 2024 

Level of Effort: Part time.  

Travel: Short trips within India to metro locations for stakeholder consultation maybe required. Travel cost will be covered.
