JOB DESCRIPTION 

Position Title: Manager/Officer Communication - IEC/BCC/SBCC 

Number of Position(s): 01

Reporting: Team Lead

Location: Dehradun, Uttarakhand

Internal Stakeholders: CEO, Director Programs, Functional Heads and the WISH program and dissemination team 

Education: MA Mass Com./MA in Journalism/MA Social Sciences/MPH or similar Post Graduate Degree 

Experence: 5-6 years of experience in developing and implementing IEC/BCC strategies for large public health programs 

Necessary Skills: 

Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively build and manage professional relationships with technical experts, other partners and community stakeholders

Excellent written skills in English.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks concurrently, and meet deadlines with attention to detail and quality.

Computer proficiency with high level of familiarity with commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, Power Point

People Management: Demonstrated leadership capacity to build and lead technology teams; possesses strong interpersonal abilities and provides necessary direction to team with focus on skill building, overall staff development, enhanced performance and engagement levels; Emotionally intelligent, perceptive and demonstrates inclusiveness and diversity;

Willingness and ability to travel extensively 

Language Proficiency: Hindi and English
