Job description: Research Expert

Location: Delhi, The resource has to be in our Delhi office 3 days a week.

Report to: Manager, Health

Employment: Consultant

Duration: 2 months

Qualifications:

Masters in Public Health, Epidemiology, Nutrition, Health Informatics/Population Studies, or MA Economics with public health or health management experience, with 3-5 years of work experience.

Good understanding and practical experience of implementing programs related to public health

Strong knowledge of public sector health systems and programs

Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and documentation skills in English (must have)

Proficient in MS Office tools

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to make sound operational decisions.

Strong team player, as well as ability to work under own initiative

Willingness to travel (~20% of the time)

Work experience in statistical data analysis software and familiarity with project management tools and frameworks would be desirable.

Role and Responsibilities

Lead on the technical, creative, editorial, and operational aspects for completion of high - quality reports, factsheets, briefs, concepts note, proceeding, presentation and other as required.

Undertake literature reviews and summarize them in a format that is relevant to the program and can be readily shared with the partners.

Provide support to the team for effective, and impactful and quality deliverables of the project in the form of quality reports, factsheets, briefs, concepts note, proceeding, presentations.

Maintain continuous collaboration and coordination with the client team.

Keep up-to-date with current developments in public health research, policy, and practice.

Perform or assume other duties as needed by the team and/or assigned by the team.
