Our Work

Vedanshi Energy Association implements a variety of initiatives designed to:

• Illuminate: We bring light to regions without electricity through our solar energy projects, improving lives and powering essential services.

• Educate: Through our educational programs, we provide communities with the knowledge to leverage renewable energy and promote sustainable practices.

• Empower: We support and train local entrepreneurs, particularly women and youth, in the energy sector, fostering job creation and economic development.

• Innovate: Our research and development efforts are focused on finding innovative solutions to energy challenges, ensuring sustainability and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

Identification of business opportunities for potential women entrepreneurs in the project area.

 Conducting skill assessments, market assessments, providing & facilitating business opportunity guidance to interested women.

 Responsible for mobilizing and achieving the goal for setting-up of new income-generating activities/ new enterprises in the project area.

 Stakeholder interactions for linking with relevant government schemes, skill service providers, and financial institutions for finalizing and starting up/scaling up nano and micro-entrepreneurial projects for long-term sustainability.? Explore options for the development of community-owned and managed centres/outlets.

 Provide market linkages (forward and backward) and facilitate capital access support for existing and new enterprises.

 Provide Business Development support services to women entrepreneurs for the stability and growth of their businesses.

 Support in Product Development, quality improvement, and innovative business development.

 Conceptualize, develop, maintain and implement successful business development strategies as part of CSR mandate of corporates specifically with MNCs in order to achieve the organization’s overall objectives.

 Ability to design and develop fundraising strategies activities, online campaigns and cause related marketing

 Work closely with program team towards developing proposals, concept notes and pitch Decks.

 Manage all donor engagement activities and compliances such as reporting and timely.

 presentations, receipts and UCs.

We’d like you to have:

 Minimum 1- 5 years of experience in social work Sector

 Educational qualification: BSW / MSW (preferred) or Any Bachelors or Masters degree

 Ability to develop compelling stories with superior written, oral and visual communication skills

 Ability to write and present clearly and persuasively in Hindi and English

 Proficiency in local language is mandatory

 Proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge of graphic designing software like CorelDraw and Photoshop will be an advantage

 Understanding of computer, internet and social media is imperative

 Experience in PR / media management

 Networking & Liaison with Stakeholders.

 . Project & Team Management

 An interest in photography, videography and design

 Willingness to travel frequently (to rural regions and other cities)

 Ability to be organised and meet deadlines

 Professional maturity and ability to work effectively across levels, functions and regions

 An alignment with the Buzz values of respect, dignity, trust and empathy

COMPENSATION:

Rs 1.2L to Rs 3L per annum based on experience and qualifications
