I.About Organisation:
The Rainbow Homes Program - aims to protect, care for, educate and empower our most disadvantaged children. These include children who live on city streets; orphaned, abandoned, and violence-affected children; working children; and children of sex workers. We strive to ensure that these children access their rights in loving, open and safe residential care homes in government schools and buildings; and for them to grow into happy, responsible, and caring citizens. II.Key Responsibilities of the position:
The incumbent for the position Manager-Technical Resource Centre (TRC) will be majorly responsible for but not limited to the following activities:
Assist in preparing knowledge management materials such as concept notes, handouts, posters, leaflets, audio-visuals, and writing dissemination-ready materials as and when required by TRC.
Support the research activities by contributing to secondary research and coordinating with States for data collection for the studies taken up by TRC.
Do initial rounds of Copy editing of content for documents produced by TRC.
Support in the creation of online communication for the dissemination event.
Support in disseminating developed contents and process documentation of residential and Community Care program activities. Develop presentations and enhance the quality of the content format.
Coordinate with appropriate stakeholders in the implementation of all capacity-building activities taken up by TRC
Support in identifying funding opportunities to be pursued by the NGO
Any other task as may be assigned from time to time as per the requirement at TRC
III.Qualification & Experiences:
Post Graduate Degree, preferably MSW/MA with specialization in Mass Communication/ Community Development/ Development studies/ Public Policy/ Child Development, etc., from a recognized university or institution.
Minimum two years of work experience in social sector/government organizations/urban local bodies etc. Freshers with relevant qualifications keen to work for the cause are also welcome to apply.
IV.Proficiencies:
A good understanding of and sensitivity to issues associated with child care, poverty, and knowledge of the context in which non-profit organizations operate
Sensitive in working with multiple cultures and beliefs and to gender equity
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills: English and Hindi; Knowing the local language (Telugu) would be an added advantage.
Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, presentation tools, and Internet usage.
Knowledge of any quantitative software would be an added advantage
Prior Experience in data interpretation, reporting, and content creation (Desirable)
Skills: Good analytical, documentation, reporting, presentation, networking, and management skills
Demonstrated presentation skills, networking skills, and management skills.
The ability to work collaboratively with diverse staff, including field staff and children in various locations
A quick learner with the ability to manage and execute multiple tasks to meet project deadlines
Ability and willingness to travel frequently, as required by the program
V.Other Information:
Scope: Full time
Reporting to: Director - Technical Resource Centre (TRC), RHP
Expected Joining Date: Immediate or within one month
Minimum commitment: Three years
VI. Compensation: INR 6 Lacs to 6.6 Lacs per annum. Salary commensurate based on work experience.
