JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Team Lead

Number of Position(s): 09

Reporting: Director – Health

Location: Imphal (Manipur), Itanagar (Arunachal Pradesh), Agartala (Tripura), Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Chennai, Puducherry, Bengaluru (Karnataka), Andhra Pradesh, Mumbai

Number of Direct Reports: Project Team

Span of Control: As per the project.

Internal Stakeholders: CEO, Program Director, Functional Heads and entire WISH program and dissemination tea

External Stakeholders: State Government, UN bodies and other officials and development partners.

Education: MD/MBBS (Community Medicine, any other branch)/ Masters in Public Health/ MBA 

Experience/ Skills: The incumbent should have: 

Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring strategies /policies /plan of actions, especially in primary healthcare in rural and urban areas.

3–5 years of experience providing technical and programmatic support to national/state governments or city ULBs on program and policy or primary healthcare.

Experience in working with government agencies, NGOs, and other partners. Strong stakeholder management skills, including establishing and managing relationships with government/urban local bodies.

Strong leadership, Strategic thinking, project management and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of government policies and regulations related to healthcare and CPHC.

Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation methodologies.

Understanding of budgeting and financial management principles.

Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management tools.

Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role preferred. 

Language Proficiency: English, Hindi and Local/State language
