About the organization: IDEA (NGO) has been retained to assist FCSL in selection of a Company Secretary. Friends Capital Services Limited (FCSL) is registered with the Reserve Bank of India as Non-Banking Finance Company (NBFC). Its registered office is in Delhi and corporate office is in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. At present the company offer micro loans in JLG format. The company offers loans towards income generating activities and supports household items that improve standard and quality of life.

Vacancy: FCSL is looking for an ambitious, self-driven candidate to join our team as Company Secretary (CS). Vacancy exists at the Head Office of the Company at New Delhi.

Experience Required: The Applicant should be having minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience as CS in banking, NBFC, MFI, Small Bank, FI, etc.

Deliverables: Will be responsible for (a) Facilitate the convening of meetings, attend general, board and committee meetings, and maintain the minutes of these meetings, (b) Represent before several regulators and other authorities under the Act connected with the discharge of duties under the Act., (c) Advice and assist the board in complying with the corporate governance requirements, ensuring good corporate governance and best practices, (d) Reach out for legal and statutory compliance matters regarding corporate laws, employment laws, labour laws, financial regulations, etc.

Qualification Required: Have any of the following qualifications: (a) Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), (b) Member of the Indian Institute of Cost and Works Accountants (ICMAI), (c) Have a Company Law Diploma from any India Law Institute. The Applicant should have excellent communication skills and well conversant in use of IT tools.
