Job Description - Training and Community Coordinator

About the AGEP - Nomi provides young girls with a safe place to socialize and learn skills that heightens their existing schooling— helping them pursue a future free of early marriage or forced labor. Girls learn their rights and become advocates for change within their communities.
Minimum Requirements
- Must have a graduate degree
- Must have good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a diverse set of people
- Experience in conducting trainings is preferable
- Must be able to use Email and MS Office tools like Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Must be able to communicate effectively (both oral and written) in English and the regional language (Hindi, Bengali, Odia)
- Must have ability to use a smartphone/computer and applications associated with them
- Willingness to travel and engage with adolescent girls, their families and relevant community stakeholders
Roles and Responsibilities
- Delivery of life skills and sexual and reproductive health and rights training to adolescent girls
- Manage engagement with a group of 15-20 adolescent girls
- Provide individual guidance to the girls on the sessions and resolve any queries
- Work collaboratively with the project team and management staff to identify new participants who can benefit from the project
- Attend and engage in all the training sessions organized by the program team
- Maintain appropriate records for the girls along with the support from project team
- Mentor and educate new team members
- Support the project team in ad hoc project requirements
Project Duration - 1 year, can be extended based on performance
Position Availability: Immediately
Location – Brajrajnagar, Jharsuguda, odisha
Number of positions – 1
Salary - 15,000 to 20,000 based on the qualifications and experiences.
