Yenepoya signs pact with Argentine NGO

Yenepoya University will sign a memorandum of understanding with a forensic anthropology unit from Argentina at Yenepoya Medical College on Thursday. The anthropology unit, Equipo Argentino de Antropologia Forense (Argentine Forensic Anthropology Team), is an organization dedicated to helping families of disaster victims by identifying the dead. EAAF teams are invited across the globe to either contribute their expertise or engage in capacity building through academic training.
The department of forensic medicine, Yenepoya Medical College, has been conducting postgraduate diploma in forensic anthropology for the last two years, and resource people from EAAF run the module on disaster victim identification.
