Siri Institute For Mentally Handicapped is a non-governmental organization established in 1994. The registration number of the organization is: 560/94, (25-04-1994). The organization is operational in Samalkot, E.G.Dt., Andhra Pradesh, India. Siri Institute For Mentally Handicapped works in the area of Disability by providing free hostel and special education service. The NGO works towards the promotion of sustainable development covering 90 villages in three mandals in around Samalkot town. Siri Institute providing special education, Speech & language intervention, Physio Therapy, behavior modification, and vocational training. It trains more than 200 children per year. It also providing free hostel facility for all differently abled children. The founder Mrs. Gopi Devi received best social worker award for ten times so far and the institution got best service award recently by State Government of Andhra Pradesh, India.
